A multifaceted logistics and mobility modeling program
has been underway at Argonne National Laboratory
since 1987, with two primary goals:
Provide decision makers with information management capabilities
for planning missions such as disaster relief,
peace-keeping, and military operations; and
Develop advanced computer system prototypes for
planning and tracking the movement of personnel,
equipment, and supplies throughout the world.
