Studied the effect of an explosive detonation blast, resulting from a closely placed explosive device, impinging on a nuclear containment with shield building type structure. Developed and computerized the interface of a spherical blast wave with a cylindrical structure and performed a yield line type analysis to predict the structural response. Prepared documentation to summarize the results in "design guide" chart format.
